We partner with residents, sponsors, families, and care teams to promote sobriety, emotional stability, life-skills development, and meaningful community involvement.

Holos Minds follows Virginia DBHDS standards for MH Sponsored Residential Home Services and maintains clear policies for sober living. From thorough sponsor qualification and background checks to medication, incident reporting, and emergency preparedness protocols, our systems are designed to keep residents safe and supported. Regular RN reviews, quality-improvement meetings, and unannounced home visits help ensure every home remains stable, respectful, and recovery-focused.

Holos Minds offers structured sober living and MH Sponsored Residential Home Services for adults in recovery and individuals with mental-health needs. Each program emphasizes safety, dignity, and practical life skills so residents can build a stable foundation for long-term wellness.
Structured Sober Living Environment
Residents live in a clean, sober, and supportive home with clear expectations around curfew, visitors, and house rules. We use a recovery-focused daily schedule that balances personal time, chores, groups, and community activities so each person can rebuild healthy routines and accountability.
MH Sponsored Residential Home Service
Holos Minds follows Virginia DBHDS standards for MH Sponsored Residential Home Services, including person-centered planning, Human Rights education, crisis and serious-incident reporting, and ongoing quality review. Each resident has an Individualized Service Plan (ISP) with goals for safety, stability, life skills, and community integration, reviewed regularly with the treatment team.
Health & Recovery Wellness Support
We encourage residents to care for their physical and emotional health as part of long-term recovery. Staff assist with appointment reminders, transportation coordination, and staying connected with outside providers such as primary-care, dental, and mental-health professionals. Our focus is on healthy routines—sleep, nutrition, activity, and stress management—so residents can sustain sobriety and emotional wellness.
24/7 Supervision & Safety
Sponsors and program staff provide continuous oversight, safety checks, and structured routines. Emergency procedures, on-call support, and incident reporting policies help ensure residents are protected day and night.
Life Skills & Community Integration
Residents are supported to build real-world skills—budgeting, cooking, housekeeping, transportation, and community participation. The goal is greater independence, confidence, and connection, not just time spent in a bed.
Family & Care Team Collaboration
We coordinate closely with families, case managers, and clinical providers (with appropriate consent) so everyone is aligned on goals and progress. Regular updates and care-team meetings help keep treatment plans on track.

Our homes serve adults who are medically stable, motivated to work on recovery, and able to live in a community setting with structure and house rules. For MH Sponsored Residential Home Services, individuals must also meet DBHDS eligibility criteria and have an active case manager.
MH Sponsored Residential Home Services may be funded through Medicaid or other approved sources, depending on eligibility. Sober living may be private-pay or funded through other arrangements. During your consultation, we’ll walk through options and clarify what applies in your situation.
Timeframes vary based on bed availability, required assessments, and completion of admission paperwork. Once documentation and approvals are in place, we work to coordinate a safe, timely move-in date with the resident, family, and care team.
Sponsors provide 24/7 supervision in the home, and on-call leadership is available for urgent issues. Our emergency preparedness, crisis intervention, and serious-incident reporting policies guide staff actions anytime there is a safety concern.
